I'd just like to start a convo on tips and advice for undergrads seeking to break into investment banking. I will be a freshmen at Princeton this fall. What do people think about GPA levels? Test scores? and all the other stats need for top business schools. Is it really important to have a 4.0 for business school?

Most important factors for B-School:

Work Experience

GPA

GMAT

Undergrad school

But seriously...you'll be going to Princeton, with top Economics and Math programs. Get a decent GPA (3.4+) and good internships, and you really will not have to worry.

The average undergrad GPAs for b-schools are MUCH lower than those for other graduate and professional programs. If you're over 3.5 at any decent school I wouldn't worry a whole lot.

Unlike high school, almost no one will get a 4.0.

Thanks guys good tips

what kinds of ecs and factors help land an intership or a job out of undergrad if the school already had recruitment?
