ibanking schools

Here's how it stands:

Going on to senior year, just finished junior
HS Uwt. GPA: 3.33
HS Wt. GPA: 3.5
ACT w/ writing composite score: 33 (strong possibility of 34 if I retake)
SAT: NA
SAT II's: Math lvl2- 750, US- 720
Very few but some extracurriculars: 4 years out-of-school fencing, several in-school clubs
AP's: 6 if including senior year, 3 taken so far
HS API score: 897
HS does not provide class rankings
Residency in California

If I'm right, the vast majority of ibanking recruitment is held from the more prestigious schools in the country, the vast majority of which I'm not getting in to with this. I can't afford private schools for the most part, so that narrows it even more. Out of state public is an option with the exception of Great Lakes region.

Do I still have a chance to fix this with 1st semester senior grades?
What schools can I potentially look at if any at all?
Bottom line- a school that will land me an investment banking job after that I could somehow miraculously get into. Is it a lost cause or does it exist?

Moments like these is when half of us wish we were one legged child prodigy refugees from North Korea.

Thanks in advance!

Post this in the IBanking subforum.

Hah. That’s worse than the idiots who wish their family’s salary was substantially lower so that they would qualify for FA. :)

I doubt you can “fix this” with 1 semester. Can’t you go to a middling UC school and transfer after a year or two?
