<p>And Rice was relatively simple and painless, which I appreciated a lot. Straight forward, etc. I applied online and sent in supplements on paper.</p>
<p>Rice ID here from Memphis, TN. Humanities School with probable majors in History and PolySci. Nice test scores, really good recs, but probably a subpar essay (once I write it..this topic has made me start over again so many times after one paragraph- GAH). Anyways, good luck to all...Rice sounds like an incredible place.</p>

<p>Two of the reasons why I love Rice are 1) interim decision, and 2) cars allowed on campus. I wish every school did interim decision...then I might actually be able to enjoy part of my senior year. =(</p>

<p>Yay for Virginians in the sciences, lol. Sorry to hear that Mark is a loser... I went to Faquier once, that's where my orchestra teacher lives. Cows live next door. hehe</p>
<p>I have yet to visit Rice. Since I haven't seen the campus, it's not close to the top of my list, but we'll see what happens come February 1st.</p>
<p>haha, yea there are more cows in our county than people... but both of us are pretty normal people. i live on a small farm, but all the rest of my friends live in neighborhoods. i wrote my essay about living on a farm while all of my friends live in neighborhoods... it turned out pretty good! (according to my dad). I have family in houston, and my uncle encouraged me to apply, so .. here i am.. What school do you goto in fairfax? not TJ is it?</p>
