<p>Don't hold me to this, guys, but I think that Rice could post their decisions for ID online a good week or two before Feb. 10. At least that's what my friend said last year who got in (from Houston). Doesn't a big envelope denote an acceptance letter? I'm thinking about waiting for the letter...</p>
<p>one or two weeks before?? oh wow, that's great... but I'm still going to tell myself February 10 so I won't be too disappointed if nothing comes. :) I hope we all get a humongous envelope.</p>

<p>yeah i got a password and stuff to check when i applied, but its useless. all it says not is applied interim decision. status pending, or something like that. maybe thats where it will say if we got in when the time comes.</p>
<p>please don't hate me!! I was mistaken... it's definitely NOT two weeks before, it's a couple of days before-week, I THINK...</p>
<p>but yeah, I hope we all get HUGE envelopes, too!! we should all post asap!</p>
<p>I got the ID/Password. It says that on the 5th the website will let us know if all of our materials are in.</p>
<p>I think its fun to check it :)... but that's just me.</p>
<p>Did the ID and password come via email or regular mail? I applied mid-November and don't believe I have received anything with which I could check my application status. Thanks.</p>

interview: had it in november w/ an alumni on rice campus. we walked around, talked, went to her old dorm, went to chem building, went to the roof of it and talked for an hour.
rice is soooooooooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL, especially driving down sunset blvd,the trees enclose you and it's beautiful. i lovehouston, i've lived here for 3 years, and the weather's wonderful, people's great, and nothing can compare to the HUGE medical campus which is super accessible, i went to the MDAnderson and the Texas A&M biochem center over the summer.
rice alumni are also super nice. i was waiting for my interviewer when i started hitting up aconvo with this alumni who majored in medieval literature, he was an interesting guy and he loves rice so much he lives down the street and comes once a week to just visit.
rice is DEFINETELY at the top of my list to go to, along with MIT and johns hopkins

<p>yeah they said they would post requirement statuses by jan 5, but I have yet to see anything different.</p>
<p>They'd better post soon...I'm sure some people are missing stuff and they'll be notifying in about a month!!!</p>
