Thanks so much guys, I'd appreciate the feedback. I've had time to read some other posts, and figured I'd give it a try. One of my friends were using the computer today, and showed me this site, and it helped me deduce which day UCLA will probably be giving out decisions - the 18th! Thanks again!

It's too bad they don't practice affirmative action, well, in your case that is because you seem pretty qualified but seeing as how you've been rejecting from UCSD, which is like 3rd after UCLA and UCB, I wouldn't really expect anything "good" coming from them. I wish you luck anyways and hope that you do get accepted because they one minority group they ought focus the most on is Native Americans.

You're extracurriculars are really good and so is your AP score for Calc.

I agree with Black's Law-there is a chance, since you got rejected from SD, that you won't get accepted to LA & UCB. But, then again, they do focus alot on minority groups, so that's a plus for you there!! :)

I dunno, maybe if you say you want to minor in music or something, maybe that'll help your chances more but I dunno--I'm not an expert on this :) but, geez, 2008 Beijing Olympics Orchestra!!! thats so cool! :D

Good luck!

please chance me back:

Hard to say...

Your ECs are above average for UC schools, but your GPA and scores are below par...

I guess it really depends on the context of your local environment and your essays...

If you'd like, I can copy paste my two essays to the prompts here - of course, I can understand it's tedious to read more, but I can definitely do that if you'd like.

Online privacy dictates that it'll be wise if you do not...

Thanks, I'll take that advice.

For what it's worth, I spent about a month working on both prompts and answering them thoroughly, with my person voice getting through. I also got many revisions from teachers and relatives.

Thanks for the input guys! I was hoping for more, so I'm going to bump. =] Thanks!
