Prompt: Should society limit people's exposure to some kinds of information or forms of expression?
No, society should not limit peoples forms of expression because limiting these causes unwanted rebellions and social unrest. Several examples such as the novels, Brave New World and Fahrenheit 451 and the United States Bill of Rights clearly demonstrate that limiting forms of expression is detrimental.
In the novel, Brave New World, by Aldous Huxley, the government limits freedom of expression which causes social unrest. IN the novel, the government has placed strict restrictions on almost everything and dictating how everyone should act and behave. However, the main character Bernard thinks of unorthodox ideas that could cause outbursts and riots. Therefore, the government decides to place Bernard on an island with other like-minded individuals. The government was not able to stop the problem for future generations and the threat is still imminent. Thus, had the government not have placed such restrictions on society, riots would not have occurred to the members with unorthodox ideas.
Another novel, Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury also exemplifies the fact that society should not limit freedom. In the novel, the government has placed a restriction on books of any kind. This has caused society to start learning humanities related subjects in schools rather than math and science. Thus, many students are intellectually challenged and spend their time playing life threatening games such as chicken. Therefore, the government should not have placed such restrictions on books, because it only causse violence and a growth of illiteracy.
Finally, the American Bill of Rights gives freedoms that are shown to be beneficial. When giving citizens the right to expression. In the Constitution of the United States of the first 10 amendments written by our Founding Fathers give citizens many rights of expression such as the freedom to speech, freedom of press, and freedom of religion. This has placed proved beneficial as countless groups of minorities have protested using the right to assemble and the right to press, gaining many important rights that we feel are basic today. Thus, if our bill of rights had not given use the right to the freedom of expression, many minority groups would not have the rights they have to offer.
After a careful analysis of Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, and the Bill of rights, one can see that giving people the right to freedom of expression is indeed beneficial to society and should not be limited. By limiting social freedoms, rebellions are formed and the government does not solve many problems anyway.

I have little experience with the SAT essay so I’ll just comment on what I know for sure.
I think that your introduction could be improved if you didn’t start with a yes or no. I think it weakened your introduction greatly, and it sounds informal to me.

BTW, you used “How to write a 12 essay in just 10 days” right? :P
