Just your average white kid I suppose. I may have a hook in the sense of my extensive travel and overseas volunteer work, and I'm planning further trips to Honduras as well. I have funded all of my travels, without the help of my parents (we're kind of poor), by working 12 hour days in the summer. Another hook might be my high school Spanish career, as I took HL Spanish in sophomore year and progressed to the independent A-2 programme as my school had no more regular courses for me to take.

Anyways, it would be fantastic if I could be chanced for any of the following schools:
Bowdoin College
Brown University
Columbia University
Cornell University
Dartmouth College
New York University
University of Chicago
Williams College
Yale University

Thanks, and I'd be happy to chance back 8)

Good chance at most, except for Yale, Brown and Columbia, as those are hard for anyone.

Thanks… I realise those schools are always a reach, but I’m really hoping for Brown. They seem to have an affinity for my school though so I hope that will help.

Any other comments?

I think you have a great shot at all of them but obviously you can’t really predict what yale, brown and columbia are gonna say since high school geniuses are rejected by them every year lol. you’ll definitely get into at least a few of them though good luck!

I’m beginning to think that the Ivies just admit qualified applicants that are selected completely at random.

anyone else?

i think with that kind of EC’s and a good essay, your in. If your not in, then what kind of people are those uni’s looking for?
