I'd love some advice :)

I’m making this quick. Can anyone tell me if I’ve got a decent shot at Brown?

I’m going into my senior year of HS. I’m a white female from TX.

GPA: 90/100 Unweighted - I have taken the most rigorous courseload offered at my school - all advanced or AP, no on-level classes at all.

ACT: 31 (35 E, 33 CR, 29 M, 25 SR)

ECs:
-Secretary of NHS
-Treasurer of Junior Statesmen of America (I’ll run for one more position)
-President of Human Rights Club senior year
-Theatre (all four years, a big part of my life)
-Varsity Softball (Freshman and Sophomore years)
-JV Volleyball (Freshman and Sophomore years)
-Sports Editor of Yearbook
-Vice President and Secretary of my BBYO chapter (a Jewish youth group I was a part for Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year)

Do I have a shot? What should I work to improve on?

Not that I'm a pro on Brown admissions but you seem like a very typical applicant aka the application might look like many others. Standing out helps a ton.

From what I know about the types of applicants that get into Brown, they take the students that stand out the most. I'm talking about wacky and novel experiences that no other student has. Did you go to Ecuador to de-worm orphans, or do you play piano at Carnegie Hall. If so, you're in. If not, I'd say find some good safties.

Raise the ACT to 33 at least...if you're smart enough to get a 31, you can get a 33 (if not higher) with practice, easy

How many people have over 90/100? If you're not in the top 10%, big detractor.

Agree with the other two posters. You're obviously strong and accomplished, but the problem is that literally thousands will have profiles that are at or above your level. You need to find something very unique about yourself and your activities and present it to Brown.

In addition to showing why you will uniquely contribute to Brown, you also should do a lot of research on the school and look carefully at academic opportunities that are unique to Brown.

Brown cares about that a ton. It's funny that some other schools don't, but in my opinion, Brown places heavy emphasis on this because its curriculum rewards those who are persistent and committed to utilizing resources effectively. This can only be done by proactive people who take the time to think about how they will fit in at a certain place. Moreover, people need to be diligent and persistent in their efforts to learn more about opportunities to capitalize on them.

My 2 cents. Btw, Brown student here.
