<p>So I just got the emails from brown, the first with my username and instructions, the second with my passkey. However, in the first step on the website to activate my account, you have to enter your ID number, which is different than your passkey. How do you find your ID number? I clicked on the link to find yours, but for that you have to log in and my username isn’t activated so it wouldn’t work yet. Convenient, right? I feel like I must be making a simple and stupid mistake… Anyone know the solution?</p>
<p>Hmm... I got the email with the passkey, but not the ID...</p>
<p>The e-mail with the passkey should some soon thereafter. I got the passkey 20 minutes later from my ID.</p>
<p>Perhaps you missed the part of the email that says

because there is no ID required in the process that you're supposed to be doing....</p>
<p>I meant the login name thing...</p>
<p>I had to email the admissions office, and they sent it.</p>
