Idea for dorm furniture: what do you think? (long)

show me, I dont mind!

besides...it can be modified

(dont take that as a demand or anything)

if anyones wondering, the beds range from 30" to 36" wide and exactly 80" long. I figure a 40" width will do. besides, with blankets and whatever, it wont be that much of a difference

It's not against school policy, so anybody who's against it is automatically *****ing about it and has no right to disagree with you or find it creepy?

You know, it's probably not against school policy to dress up like a clown and speak swahili to your roommate either, but that's also pretty creepy and weird. I'm not saying you're doing something utterly ridiculous like that, but to say that you have every right to do this and your roommate doesn't have the right to complain just because it's "not against school policy" is very foolish. Try to think about how the rest of society will perceive you, regardless of the rules and laws.

i think you should build it cause its a dream of yours. but not actually use the thing in college, or in college scale it down/take some walls out to make it more live-able.

what I'm saying is, theres no reason why she should have that much of a problem with it.

its that simple, theres way worse things that could freakin happen

saying its a dream, well, thats not a lie.

The whole purpose of it though, was for college.

I'll scale it down to almost nothing, I'm willing to compromise: from 5 by 9 to 3.5 by 10

come on...and no walls either

again, with the last idea it would be no different than having your desk at one end of your bed and a dresser at the other

Wait, you're a sophmore? Hopefully you'll outgrow this idea, because it sounds silly.

Seriously, what will your roomates, your roomate's friends, your friends, the senior tutor, and eveyone else down the hall think?

I've got more important things on my mind than what people think of me

So are you still thinking of doing this?

haha yeah I'd like an update, too

so, what happened

dood....seriously? are you in 4th grade? your building a fort in your dorm room, you might as well use some broom sticks and tie together some blankets. Just tell your room-mate not to borrow your stuff and keep valuables in a lock box under your bed or something.

also keep your door locked

Why don't you just try and get a private room?

I have to admit, I'd be weirded out if my roommate had such a contraption. Not to mention it would probably not get you a lot of girls/boys.

If you're worried about people stealing your stuff insure them. It's a cheaper and less complicated alternative.

Come to think of it, you'll probably have a private room within days of installing that thing. It might be the most brilliant plan to get a single I've ever heard.

Roonil.... LoL

lol i remember this.

Omg...that roonil wazlib thing makes me laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME!

bump. This is so freaking funny! I really think it would be awesome to have an update on this.
