I was thinking that I might have a shot at the following:

CUNY City College
Stony Brook University
Cornell (ED)

Bump, someone please read and answer this…please…

I absolutely think you can get into all of those schools (yes, even Cornell ED too!). I would even consider schools like UChicago, Duke, etc. depending on what majors you’re interested in.
Chance me?

You seem like a great fit for all the schools you listed.

suggestions for me?

What are you interested in majoring in? I’m basing off my recommendations off the fact that you seem like a very talented musician and if you are thinking of minoring or double majoring, then you should definitely take a look at Northwestern in Evanston, IL and Rice in Houston, TX. Take note that if you are interested in pre-Med both Rice and Northwestern offer programs-- NW with the HPME and Rice with Baylor. They both have great academics including a school of engineering and a CLA plus outstanding music programs. I have also heard that Vanderbilt is outstanding at fostering a good undergraduate community and again has a very solid music program.
Hope this helps!

Thanks!! and my planned major is English Literature with a minor in African American studies. I used to want to go into music…but I had my eyes set on Juilliard…lol

Also, my first two years of high school, I got B’s and one C in my math course. Will that kill my chances, even though my GPA is still at 3.75? Thanks! and i’ll chance you guys back asap

bumpity bump

Bump 10char

I just sorta want to know how much those two poor years would affect my chances. Freshman year I had a 3.4 unweighted (no c’s, just b’s) and 3.6 unweighted sophomore year (had b’s in my honors chem. Class and one b and one c in geometry. The rest were high A’s)
