For me, it's either Harvard -> Johns Hopkins Med or Columbia -> Johns Hopkins Med

Medical school != grad school

H/P/Wharton -> No Grad. Ideally I’d like to go straight from IB to PE/HF. Probably won’t happen.

^^ really? I’ve always thought Med school was graduate school…

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or MIT and then go to Harvard Law school or Business school. This is probably a dumb question, but would it decrease my chances of getting into Harvard Law school if I already went there for undergrad?

^Technically, medical school is professional school, as are business school and law school. A graduate school would be one in an academic field, i.e. PoliSci or public health.

^^ no, it won’t.
^ ah i see.

Okay,thanks. Thats a relief.

If I had my choice, it’d be
Princeton -> Maxwell School-> Harvard Law School

I really didn’t want to bother with transferring schools so when I was applying it was in the mentality of going there all 4-6 years, but then I don’t want a doctorate and I only want a masters

so it’s basically just CMU for mechE BS and then CMU for robotics masters (on my business cards I think I’ll put “master and bringer of the robotic apocalypse”)

MIT–> Wharton/HBS for MBA

quantitative plus management skills –> win!

lol probs Brown ⇒ UChicago/Cambridge/other medieval European university through Masters to PhD

Ivy [Pref Brown or Yale]or LAC -> Ivy Law School or GW

An ideal combo would be:

Princeton (Woodrow Wilson) –> Harvard Kennedy School (graduate studies) –> Yale Law School (J.D./LLM)

Plus, you manage to nail all the (current) top 3.

Depends on your path…

I’d go with what blankusername said though.

Actually, JHU -> JHU Med would also be ideal for me.

Brown or LAC---->Ivy league/Other top school that’s best for the field I eventually decide I like best.

MIT—>Whoever will take me.

wow guys, i’m really impressed by how the college confidential people
really overlook fame and prestige in terms of their selection of undergrad and grad schools.

clearly, i had been riddled with misconceptions about this place…

lol

USC —> Harvard/Stanford/Columbia B school OR masters at Georgetown for something IR related.
Then when I’m older (like 40s) go back and get my PhD in Econ from UChicago then go back to teach at USC.
