So I'm having trouble coming up with an idea to answer this prompt...it seems very limited to me:

"Describe a setting in which you have collaborated or interacted with people whose experiences and/or beliefs differ from yours. Address your initial feelings, and how those feelings were or were not changed by this experience."

Some Ideas I have are:
1. Band: I used to believe I had to stand out and be the best, band taught me that it's more about the team than the individual. Changed from pressure, competitive to more relaxed and supportive.

I didn't have confidence in myself before, but those around me did (believed in me). I was originally unsure of myself and after became more confident? More comfortable in my own skin?

In my environment, lots of people have this belief that working too hard is not a good thing. You should be able to get by with minimal work. I disagree, I believe hard work pays off. Stuck to my belief.

My teacher once told me that we end up just working our lives away. I didn't want to believe that, I believed working hard was the key to success. Started to question whether I was living my life "correctly"

They believe girls shouldn't be good academics esp. at math and science. I believed girls can love math. Felt like a nerd. Outsider. but this is who I am and I accept it.

Are any of these even RELATED to the prompt? Could I use any of these at all? Please advise!!
