Idea's for science fair ANYONE?

Hey I'm wanting to go to Intel science and engineering fair this year anyone got any idea's on some science topics that are real interesting that that you think could get me there? thanks alot

Hahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahhaahahahhahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahhaahahah

There are a bunch of things you could do.......

well... I also kinda want to go, so it'd be in my best interests to make sure that my competition is as small as possible. Otherwise I'd be glad to help. Sorry!

The distribution of lattice points on the surface of platonic solids and its relationship to the formation of chemical compounds?

^^ Psh. That was my 4th grade science project. I did it when I attended Little League RSI.

haha funny Dei Gratia

Thanks Zogoto
ANyone else please

the effect of a type of throw on how far a football travels
Thats a project my friend did and went to Nationals for it
SIKE.........

My D did "Its okay to Kiss Your Dog" about dog saliva killing bacteria

Really nasty

But that was in 7th grade, don't ask how we got the saliva, our dog is stll mad

Duh

Invent cold fusion. That will definitely snatch some attention.

solve one of those millenium problems.

lol i doubt i could invent cold fusion...
is that what kind of projects ppl do to get to the internationals stuff like finding millenium problems and stuff?

All right, I've decided to help you for real unlike those who have posted previously.

One question: Do you have access to some sort of lab? What kind of equipment can you use?

Here's a practical approach:

Choose a topic that you are interested in. Then, look (either on the web or in the library) for scientific journals that publish papers pertaining to your topic. Read through a few of these papers; one of them may spark an idea for your project. Remember, most projects are not absolutely original, so it's okay to follow this method. I know of someone who did a math project that involved using Game Theory to model the spread of the AIDS virus, after reading about research that involved using Game Theory to model the spread of Influenza. And I believe she qualified for ISEF.

BUMP!
anyone else with any good topics please

and CollegeHereI_Come!, i don't really have access to any labs

Do you live near a univ?

zogoto, didn't you compete in Siemens? If so, how did you come up with your idea?

Read about it in Scientific American. Oh yeah, Sci. Am. is one (semi)scientific journal that everyone can understand. Read sciam.

No one is going to share, because they'd rather not give out any good ideas. I suggest doing what Dei Gratia said (in post 14), that's a very good approach.
