Ideas for what to do while visiting Cornell?

Hey, I was going to spend 2 days at Cornell for a visit and I was wondering what to do while there other than info sessions and tours. I figured I needed to 2 days for cornell rather than 1 since it is so big. Any ideas what to do while there?

If you can, try to meet up with someone you know there so they can show you what Cornell is like from a student's perspective. If you know them well enough, ask them if you can stay overnight, and maybe try out the party scene if that's your kind of thing. I stayed with someone earlier this year and the experience basically solidified my decision to apply ed.

hm..I dont know anyone there and my rents are tagging along...although I did stay with my bro in georgetown and we did go to a party there...

Contact the admissions office of the college you're interested in, pretty much all the colleges have an "ambassador" program -- and there may be a student you could get in contact with, have lunch with, ask questions. Make the experience more personable. I would also recommend taking an individual college tour (i.e. engineering, ag) I don't know who else does them. The big campus tour is nice, but college tours give you more information about things you're interested in.

i've pulled up an older thread for you on this topic...
