Just an update on this topic. My son was accepted EA at this college and so far, it’s the only one who has given us a FA award with the acceptance. The rest of them he was accepted to said they would send the FA award in the next two months.
The FA awards were awesome! Grants and scholarships that would make it possible for him to attend and not have to take out a student loan. So it was definitely worth the hassle of having this document notarized. None of the other schools have asked for the same documentation yet.
