Today is the Ides of March. Beware! And all literature lovers rejoice! Btw has anyone studied JC here?

The man or the play?

We just finished studying Julius Caesar in my English class!
It’s only the second Shakespeare play that I have read and I’m not really a literature lover!
But I totally understood the thread title :D

We’re actually studying Julius Caesar now. Oddly enough our teacher didn’t mention it

LOL i remember that!!

JC was good- but truthfully, im not really a big shakespeare fan.

I got wait listed today…

I also have Roman lineage in my blood…

There is no way this is a coincidence here.

^Aw, I’m sorry. Where?

Ides of March, eh? Long time no see :D

Cool. I know like three people whose birthdays are today lol.

I forgot to tell my English teacher (who is also teaches a course on Shakespeare) about the Ides of March. My biggest regret of the day.

^^SAME here! And none of the other kids in my HIGHER english class brought it up either. I looved JC, it was the harder drama course offered at my school (altho both were easy) and I was so pleased to have something I actually enjoyed analysing instead of some of the pointless short stories we had to do.

^ Hey, I said it right at the beginning of English, before anyone else came in.

I got food poisoning on the Ides of March. No Roman lineage though.

Aww really? Yesterday? Ouch And no, I didn’t hear you. Hahha I think you should have casually mentioned the date to see if the teacher would get it.

Yes…that REALLY answers my question. Nice to meet you, Mist.

Studying JC really turned me on to world history. I also really liked Shakespeare’s play…I thought it was well-written and awesome, plain and simple.
