I need practice on the writing section. I always had a problem with idioms and word choice simply because I just didn't study them or know them. (I'm fluent in English but I still have trouble) So....are there any sources that give you a list of word choices and idioms that most appear on the SAT?

Silverturtle’s guide has a pretty long list of idioms. Check his thread. It’s stickied.

On silverturtles guide there is a section on “due to versus because of”
It says due to functions adjectively and because of functions adverbly. I do not understand waht this means. Hence, I cannot understand his examples. Can any explain this?

^To be honest, I don’t think it really matters. I doubt that would appear as an error on the SAT’s. Even Silverturtle himself admits that it’s “possible” this could occur as an error as opposed to writing that this would “most likely appear” or even “will definitely appear.” I recommend you study other errors that are more common and come back to this later.
