Hello, I just received my IDOC notification and I have some questions (I am an international student):
I thought I could only send the documentation by regular mail, but would it be enough to simply upload the documents (as it appears I can do), or do I need to send something else by mail if I do that?
The only documents under the “required documents” dashboard are my parents´ tax returns and mine but on the right, if I click on the list of general and specific institution forms, there are a bunch of other things that supposedly all colleges ask for (non tax filer statement, verification worksheet, etc.)… do I also need to send those, or do I just upload what I am specifically required to upload?
If I can do everything online, there is no need for a coversheet, right?

As of last year, domestic students were REQUIRED to send everything to IDOC via US postal service. Uploading of documents WAS NOT allowed. I don’t know about the requirements for international students, but I would think they would be the same.
Every college has different requirements, some ask for a “non tax filer statement” which means that if you (or your parent) did not work, you need to complete that form and send it in. If you did work, and have those tax forms, then you don’t send that form in.
You ALWAYS need to send in the coversheet as it contains specific data, such as your name, IDOC ID # etc.
I thought I could only send everything via mail as well, but I have the option to upload documents when I log in my account (which would be easier and cheaper), that´s why I asked… I think I´ll send everything by mail though, just to be sure. Anyway, thank you very much!
You are able to upload documents on IDOC and the schools will receive them. This is new for this year. You are able to submit documents through IDOC, which is easier and convenient for everyone.
Some specific schools do not participate with IDOC, check your schools.
