I had received an email from my prospective college requesting I submit the IDOC Packet to the school. I have not received my decisions yet but it is expected to come in tomorrow. Is this an indication that I was accepted into the school, or is this standard to ask of all applicants?

I’m wondering the same thing…

???

For those schools that ask for the IDOC Packet, it is standard for all applicants. It could possibly mean that you have been accepted, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it. It most likely means that your financial aid has been delayed.

If you haven’t sent in IDOC yet, the financial aid office is unable to provide you with the money you may need to attend. They take the IDOC, the FAFSA, and the CSS Profile into consideration to provide scholarships and loans.

I think this email is reminding you to send in the IDOC (it was due by March 1 for most schools).

However, not sending in your IDOC has absolutely nothing to do with your decision. You may be accepted without sending in your IDOC; you just get less money.

And I know I’ve been rambling a bit, but I don’t think this is an indication of acceptance, but I wish you luck! I’m waiting for my decision from my top choice tomorrow too!
