IDOC. Parents' tax return signed

Hello!

It says that IDOC requires signed parents' tax returns. The thing is that I'm in college, away from home. Do my parents have to mail me their signed copies of their tax return or scanning and e-mailing them to me will suffice?
An easier way to put this, does this have to be an ink signature?
Thanks!

bump?

anyone?

I think you are fine with them scanning and emailing a signed copy of their tax return to you - then you print it out and mail to IDOC. I just reread the IDOC directions and it says nothing about needing an original ink signature. Make sure your parents also copy their W-2 forms - one per page - and scan and email those to you as well.

Have your parents look at the instructions and checklist so they can make sure to copy things correctly and send everything you need.
