IDOC Verification Worksheet Help

<p>I'm just finishing up the last of my IDOC packet, and I am unsure as to what to do with the Verification Worksheet. In my IDOC instructions, it does not specifically say that I need it, nor does it say that I do not need it. After doing some research I see that people only fill out these verification sheets when the FAFSA asks them to do so. So do I need to fill it out?</p>

<p>Also, if I do fill it out, how do I treat the questions that don't apply to me? (The instructions state that I should not leave any question blank). For example, as a student, I am not going to fill out a 2009 income tax return. So when it asks me for my untaxed sources of income (I have none) do I put in a zero, or perhaps a N/A?</p>

<p>Put zeros, not N/A.</p>

<p>The letter from IDOC (not the “cover sheet”) should tell you what your school(s) require you to submit. If the dependent worksheet is not listed there you do not need to send it. If it turns out the school does want it after all, they’ll let you know.</p>
