<p>Ok, so I am a little confused on this one part. I am looking under the family information section. It says this:</p>

<p>List the people in your parent(s)' household, including:
-Yourself and your parent(s) (including stepparent) even if they don't live with your parents, and
-your parents’ other children, even if they don’t live with your parent(s), if (a) your parents will provide more than half of their
support from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, or (b) the children would be required to provide parental information when
applying for Federal Student Aid, and
-other people if they now live with your parents, and your parents provide more than half of their support and will continue to
provide more than half of their support from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012. </p>

<p>So I'm having trouble with who to put because when it says "your parents" at certain points, I don't know if they also mean my non-custodial parent. Here is the list of people that I think should go on, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong.</p>

<p>-myself
-My mother, who lives with me
-My father, who doesn't live me
-my two half-sisters (from my mom's side), that lives with me
-my half-sister (from my father's side), who lives with our father and not with me
-my half-brother (from my father's side), who lives with our father and not with me</p>

<p>Here are other people, who I don't think belong in there. Correct me if I'm wrong
-my father's wife, who lives with my father, and not with me (I don't know if she counts as a "step-parent")
-my half-sister (from my mom's side), who lives with her father and not with me
-my half-sister's father (my half-sister in the previous bullet.)
-my half-brother (from father's side), who supports himself</p>

<p>Yes, it is a confusing question. I am assuming since you live with your mother that you submitted the FAFSA using only her financial information. In that case the people listed on the verification worksheet should be:</p>

<p>yourself
your mother
your half-sisters who live with you and your mother</p>

<p>None of the other people you listed should be included. The verification worksheet, although it is collected by IDOC, has nothing really to do with the CSS Profile. It is a document used to help verify your eligibility for federal aid… in other words, it relates to the FAFSA only. As with FAFSA, you do not include non-custodial parents or family members that do not live with you (unless your custodial parent provides more than half of their support.) If your mother was remarried, you would include your step-father since you live with her. This does not, however, extend to your non-custodial parent or his spouse.</p>
