Hi guys.
So my dad gave me his 1040 tax return which I’ll submit to idoc.
Now idoc also wants the W-2.
The last page of my dad’s 1040 is headed:
“W-2 Summary by Payers (W2 (1040))”
Should I submit this last page as the W-2?
That can be a backup plan if you don’t have access to the actual employee copy of the W-2 that your dad should have received. But, that last page is just a summary completed by whoever prepared the tax return. The actual W-2 would be much better.
