When I upload W-2 for IDOC,
Do I need to upload entire page of W-2( indicated filing for federal, state, local, employee…) or just one part of them, for example federal filing part only?
We initially uploaded the first two pages, but then, they requested the whole thing including all of the schedules. The summary page, for your account, will list any outstanding documents that will be required and the actions required. They are usually highlighted in red.
my question is about W-2, not tax return 1040 form.
Sorry about that: We did upload the full W-2 because it shows all of the SDI, union fees, and local horrendous tax info, etc.
The different copies of any particular W-2 (Copy 1, Copy 2, Copy B, Copy C) all show the same information. You can upload any one of them to IDOC.
