Does anyone know when the IDOC is due for Emory? I filed the FAFSA and CSS with a "will profile" status, and my parents won't be able to finish their taxes until about two more weeks.

Well…I’m having an even bigger problem. It’s the end of February and my parents still haven’t filed their taxes and I’m not sure when they will. I saw on their financial aid website that the deadline for the IDOC documents is March 1st. I will most likely not be able to make this deadline. If I don’t send in everything by that date, will I not be eligible for financial aid if I get accepted? Does anyone have any experiences with sending in the IDOC past the deadline?

March 1st is a priority deadline, you can file after. However, it WILL hurt your chances of receiving aid. You can file the FAFSA and CSS PROFILE based on estimates in the meantime. You need to let your parents know that they are hurting your chances of receiving aid by waiting so long. It’ll be money out of their pockets.

bentley is asking me to do this also, but i have completed the fafsa as well as the css.
