<p>Hi all. Several of my schools require the IDOC as a means of submitting tax returns and schedules, and I'm kind of hazy about how this works. As far as I can tell, I get an ID number in the mail in February, and submit the forms with that cover sheet? So I shouldn't submit the tax returns to the schools that require IDOC until I receive this in the mail? Thanks for any help you can give. :)</p>
<p>You send the tax returns with the cover sheet to IDOC. They scan them and submit them electronically to the colleges - you don't send the forms to the colleges. Note that you do send the forms to non-IDOC colleges.</p>
