<p>Go to each of your schools' individual aid sites. For example, I think that MIT's site says to send copies of your 2006 forms for the time being. Otherwise, politely remind your parents to get cracking?</p>
<p>As mentioned before....when your student is applying for financial aid, it is very important to complete your taxes as soon as possible. It is important to meet all deadlines. AND if you want a finalized financial aid award prior to making your May 1 college decision...you really can't wait until April 15 to send your taxes in this year. It's important to get all of this done as soon as reasonably possible so that you can update your FAFSA and Profile (if needed) with the accurate information from your 2007 taxes AND be able to send in the appropriate completed documentation by the deadlines specified by the schools.</p>
