Ie/econ

I will be a freshman at McCormick next year. I want a job in the business/finance type sector. Which of the following combos has the best value and will get me the best job in this area?

IE Major
IE/ECON Double Major
Kellog certificate
ECON minor
Co-op

If I could, I would to the IE/ECON double major, the Kellog certificate, and Co-op, but I doubt there is room. Even though I have a while to think about this, can you help me pick and chose the best combination that I can finish in four years? Is the double major worth it? How much value is in the minor and the certificate? I have a lot of AP credit but will probably only use it for two basic econ classes and two basic math classes. Oh, and I probably will get an MBA sometime after college, but I won't be able to afford it right away.
Any advice would be great.

I’m no undergrad at NU, but I’d guess that the Kellogg certificate would open the most doors (and subsequently the most opportunities to get recruited) into finance.

And don’t even think about an MBA until you’ve already gotten 3-5+ years of FT work experience post-grad; you won’t be competitive to most top B-schools until you do anyway.
