<p>I apologize-- I did exagerate the wages earned. Realistically, he was earning a high salary but when taken into account how many hours he worked (overtime not included) it was a sad lifestyle.</p>

<p>As for the beeper comment, during company merging and deals, he was constantly on call and had to be able to return to the office at any given notice.</p>

<p>...okay, so sometimes it just <em>feels</em> like less than minimum wage. ;)</p>

<p>Still doesn't give you a whole lot of time to enjoy your hard-earned money, though. =\ With my luck, I'd work three years at 100 hours a week, get a nice cushy job somewhere so I could enjoy my substantial nest-egg, and get hit by a bus while crossing Easy Street on my first day of my new job.</p>
