If a college is examining your financial aid application, are you in?

I tracked my financial aid information on a very prestigious school's website and found that they granted me a noncustodial parent waiver (because my parent's are divorced).

This indicates that they've been actively reading my financial aid application, not necessarily just checking off that I've submitted everything. (There are a lot of documents that need to be evaluated and closely read for a noncustodial parent waiver to be granted.) Would this indicate that they've accepted me?

No. Some financial aid offices work independent of the admissions office, so don’t assume anything.

Likely case is they are processing your financial aid application, just like everyone else’s
