It is not a “usual” question that girls ask guys, if that’s what you were wondering. It’s really hard to know what was going through her head without hearing her tone. Maybe she was being sarcastic. Maybe she’s just a bit odd and asks odd questions.

That sounds like me.

That sounds like some other girls I know.

So will you PLEASE tell us the context??? I mean, did she just walk up to you and go “Hi Bronson, what’s new, oh, do you have any friends?”

she wants to be your friend

lawls

I was talking to her during a break. I don’t remember how the conversation started. She asked me questions about my major, about my hobbies, about my interests. Things like that. One question led to another and the next thing I knew she asked me if I had friends.

That would lead me to think she wanted to hear about your friends and she just worded it in a really weird way. While I can’t imagine asking someone if they have friends, if I am not totally paying attention to my words I could see myself saying, “so do you have a group of friends?” or something like THAT to segue into what your friends are like, which isn’t a far jump from what she actually said.

You could ask HER why she asked. Maybe she has friends and wants to go out as a group.

there is no way she is that stupid that she didn’t correct herself if she misspoke…especially if you responded

shes rude, stay away!

Hmm you should describe the personality of the girl more…

Is she in college?

Maybe she’s heard the “rumors” about hard majors/colleges and how you have no time to make friends.

honestly, i would just say no. Even if I have friends, I would say I have few friends to make it all cute and made myself open to her. Hopefully, I could enter to her circle of friends to open up some potentials.

Cute?

Umm…sorry dude. Not a good idea.

“honestly, i would just say no. Even if I have friends, I would say I have few friends to make it all cute and made myself open to her. Hopefully, I could enter to her circle of friends to open up some potentials.”

Or appear needy as hell and make her head for the hills.

I think the fact that you asked this question here and not to your real friends validates her question.

Yes!!! It is a very bad sign!!!

hahaha haha

If it were me (because I’ve asked that question before), I would probably honestly want to know if you had friends. You said she was asking you a bunch of questions about your life. Maybe you’re a busy guy and she was just wondering if you even have time for a social life. Maybe she was meaning it as an invitation for you to join her social life…

It’s stupid questions like these that you can really rack up the points…or you could just ignore the opportunity and get all nervous and offended.

She asked you “Do you have friends?” because you came across as the weird loner kid with little to no social skills, and thusly couldn’t possibly have friends.

Instead of displaying tact or showing sympathy for what she imagined your situation was, she wanted to confirm that you have no friends because it would make a mildly amusing story to tell her friends later. “The kid had NO friends hahaha.”

Oh no, your worst fears are true!

Is the OP back again with another new screen name?

bronson—>raefless—>pmvd---->innovativebox—>htamt ondab---->moire

Hmm no friends + girl problems. Must be.
