If a gunman was to ever set foot onto the school, LOCKDOWN!!!

however, if that was to happen, hmmm, i would let him shoot two others of my choice if the two are annoying and serve no future benefit to society, but if i care about the class, I would probably sacrifice my life and hope to live.

I’m pretty sure the rest of your life would be awful after you let someone else die instead of you- ridicule ect. So, you’re pretty much ****ed either way.

I agree with Riley^. People will hate you forever, especially anyone who liked the guy(s) who you had killed.

Your best option is to attempt to attack the gunman. You’ll probably die, but at least you’ll have a chance. And weather you live or die you will be a hero.

Lol. The threshold would be the amount of people I hate and would be of no use to society. Negative use. Like bigots. I mean they do deserve a place here but if I HAD to…

I dunno. I definitely can’t imagine saying, “Yes, kill those two” but I don’t want to die. Maybe I’d just try to calm him down and disarm him. Or hope he shoots me somewhere noncritical and that I can survive until I get to the hospital. And that this doesn’t happen sometime near a ballet performance so that I wont miss it b/c I am dead/injured. I hate letting people down like that.

Quasi: Sure, you get to live, but you have to live knowing that you basically killed your classmate(s). And I really don’t like some people, but I don’t think I hate anyone badly enough that I could be okay with being responsible for their deaths.

@Gerontius : Sometimes people like you make me wonder why I have a faulty moral compass. Haha. I, unlike you, would be able to make peace thinking that I had no choice. Of course I’d feel terrible especially when the family comes into the picture but hey, at the end of the day, I feel like most of us are individualistic.

That seems like the real answer, doesn’t it? If he will shoot either you or any other person of your choice, the smartest bet it is to tell the gunman to shoot himself. After all, he never said that it had to be someone else in your class…

I was thinking straight away to shoot the gunman but D= someone already said it. D= How disappointing… I thought I would get the praise D= D= D=…

I’d tell him to shoot someone currently absent, or someone who doesn’t exist, while watching for a chance to go for a weapon and call the police.

I would negotiate and distract while the rest of the class (hopefully) took out the gunman. This probably wouldn’t work as shooters tend to not ask questions and negotiate while they are on a shooting rampage.
