<p>Theoretically: I’d let him kill me. I don’t think I’d mind it much. After all, he will inevitably not keep his promise, and end up killing everyone else. Dying doesn’t seem so bad. </p>
<p>Realistically: Survival instincts would kick in, and I’d desperately do anything survive, ignoring factors of ridicule and any potential consequences.</p>
<p>Idealistically: I’d try to think of something clever.</p>

<p>were animals. if it came to it we would kill without hesitation. the only reason we dont kill is because society tells us it is wrong. if we were in a situation with a gunman, every single one of us would let him kill others. thats not speculation thats fact</p>

<p>I might waver less if he was holding a lethal (yet painless) needle. I’m not a big fan of pain and slow deaths.</p>
<p>So if the gunman was a terrible shooter, that would be pretty horrible. On one hand, I might get off alive with a missing part of my body. On the other hand, I might die a slow and painful death.</p>
<p>And a lot of murderers suicide after they go on a mass killing spree, so I could just save him the trouble of the killing spree by telling him to shoot himself.</p>
<p>Ideally, some epic background music would pop up and a scene of movie like proportions would take place, saving us all.</p>

<p>Give him a long list of people he should kill first and make sure they are in classes as far away from your location as possible. Sounds more clever and realistic than trying to calm a ****ing psychotic gunman down.</p>

<p>Yes, I would feel guilty. But we as humans are inherently selfish and will attempt to preserve our lives to the best of our abilities. If you say that you would rather die, then you are just flat-out lying.</p>
<p>If this guy is mentally unstable and can’t think well enough(which is not safe to assume), then I’ll say he can shoot himself.</p>
<p>If he came for a purpose, I’d have to stall somewhat, or give someone that look.</p>
