if a package can't get into the po box, does it go to the mailroom?

I ordered a package for a class over the phone and gave the address with the po box. If they end up using a private shipper that can't deliver there, will they take it to the mailroom instead?

Anything that can’t fit in a mailbox (basically everything but business envelopes and things that fold, like magazines), will go to the mail room/package pick-up window in the Union. You will need your BU ID and the box number to pick up your package.

If you’re having issues getting the shipper to mail it to the PO Box, they should use the package mailing address:

Name
BU Box XXXX
Binghamton University
4400 Vestal Pkwy E
Binghamton, NY 13902

Use this (or some variation of this form) from now on for packages, it’s much simpler.

I just checked the store website. Says they do that a usps option. Hopefully that’s what they used after i gave a po box.
