<p>No. Just put 3.86. They’re going to see your transcript, which has the 3.86 gpa on it. You don’t want to be dishonest. Even if you had a 3.89999, you can’t just change it to a 3.9.</p>

<p>NO do not do that! Colleges and Scholarships do not want you to round unless they specify to round. If there is not enough space you put 3.9. If you put 3.9, they could void your application for being dishonest.</p>
<p>I would make things simple and round to 4.0 UW. Got a 35 on the ACT? 40 sounds much better.</p>
