If a school is test-optional?

If a school is test-optional and you choose to not submit your ACT/SAT scores, does it hurt you in the admissions process? I'm worried because Pitzer is test-optional and it's my number one school and I'm not submitting my scores.

It won't hurt you (they won't know), but it definitely won't help you. If there is an apparent lack of strong academic abilities in your resume (you're on CC. I doubt it.), then you might be leaving a gap left unfilled. Otherwise, if they say they aren't required, I don't see why you would need to submit them?

Usually, in order to be reviewed for merit scholarships at test-optional schools, SAT or ACT scores must be submitted.
