If Accepted Into Coordinated Dual Degree Program - Which School am I in?

I applied to the Roy and Diane Vagelos LSM coordinated dual degree program that combines Wharton and the School of Arts and Science. If I get accepted, would I be considered a Wharton student? A SAS student? Both? Or would I just be considered a Vag student?

I would think that I would technically be in both Wharton and SAS?

yes, but just say your in wharton cause it sounds better. Or you could say you’re in the program then have to spend a minute explaining it

Just say you’re a vag.

You can make all the innuendos you want, but seriously, I’d just say the Vagelos program. Sounds classy.

sorry i laughed a bit when u called you self a “vag”, its funny how u can both ***** and a vag…
okay that was immature of me

Haha yeah the innuendo was semi-intended.

I could say I am a Pen15 in the Vag program!

Now I really want to get in…

Get your what into where…?

This thread is making me really happy.

I hope that everybody here who applies to Penn gets in so that we can all snicker together at sexual innuendos in a corner of the Quad together.

if you’re going for a corner of the quad, you mean the nipple, right?

rofl! I cracked up the first time I heard of the nipple. I’m so mature.

You have a home school and a second school. To my knowledge, and please someone correct me if I am wrong, your home school is the school that you entered into Penn.

If, you are accepted to Penn as a freshman into one of the coordinated dual degree programs, (SEAS, college, Nursing) will be home school, not Wharton.

Your home school is also the first one listed on the official transcript.

If you are in dual degree, and you drop out of a school, the remaining one becomes your home school.

@Kuangpao, I love you! Hahaha, and I totally agree.

“I hope that everybody here who applies to Penn gets in so that we can all snicker together at sexual innuendos in a corner of the Quad together.”

■■■■■! Yes! I agree. Lets. I also proposed that we make class shirts that say I am a PEN15 or CAN’T GET ENOUGH PEN15 PRIDE!

yes, i believe drnoeyedea is fully correct

On your transcript, would both Wharton and CAS show up, or is it just as if you were in the College and you were allowed to take extra courses at Wharton? You would get a degree from both schools though right? This is weird.

So technically while at a Vagelos LSM student would be considered part of the College, except he/she would get a degree from both Wharton and the College. Am I correct?

School: ARTS & SCIENCES
Division: ARTS & SCIENCE UNDERGRAD
Degree Program: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE
Major: BIOCHEMISTRY
Minor: Whatever your minor is

Vagelos Program

School: WHARTON
Division: WHARTON UNDERGRADUATE
Degree Program: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ECONOMICS
Major: FINANCE

This is what yours will say. You will get two physical degrees, you can put two degrees on the resume.
