I applied to the Roy and Diane Vagelos LSM coordinated dual degree program that combines Wharton and the School of Arts and Science. If I get accepted, would I be considered a Wharton student? A SAS student? Both? Or would I just be considered a Vag student?

I would think that I would technically be in both Wharton and SAS?

I hope that everybody here who applies to Penn gets in so that we can all snicker together at sexual innuendos in a corner of the Quad together.

You have a home school and a second school. To my knowledge, and please someone correct me if I am wrong, your home school is the school that you entered into Penn.

If, you are accepted to Penn as a freshman into one of the coordinated dual degree programs, (SEAS, college, Nursing) will be home school, not Wharton.

Your home school is also the first one listed on the official transcript.

If you are in dual degree, and you drop out of a school, the remaining one becomes your home school.

@Kuangpao, I love you! Hahaha, and I totally agree.

“I hope that everybody here who applies to Penn gets in so that we can all snicker together at sexual innuendos in a corner of the Quad together.”

■■■■■! Yes! I agree. Lets. I also proposed that we make class shirts that say I am a PEN15 or CAN’T GET ENOUGH PEN15 PRIDE!

On your transcript, would both Wharton and CAS show up, or is it just as if you were in the College and you were allowed to take extra courses at Wharton? You would get a degree from both schools though right? This is weird.

So technically while at a Vagelos LSM student would be considered part of the College, except he/she would get a degree from both Wharton and the College. Am I correct?
