As in what type of habitat would you most like to live in for any extended (10+ years) period of time, be it in a metropolis, or in the wilderness, or somewhere in between?

If not in the big city, which terrestrial biomes would you most strongly prefer? What latitudes and temperatures would you like to live at, and what would you like to have in proximity (ie mountains, ocean, rivers, etc.)

I've always hovered somewhere between the traditional estate in the country, with its broad sweeping plains and open expanses, and a more adventurous life, amid ice and high mountains (during the fourth temperate season) and creeks and whatnot, where I might live in relative quiet at my leisure.

Temperature would have to lie somewhere in the low eighties on a hot summer day and somewhere above the teens on a cold winter night. Currently, I'm looking at the N. American northern latitudes, although I'd be open to places like Germany or Norway also.

I'd love to settle down in a rural North Eastern town. I'm not sure where yet. My family wants to strangle me for that since the're all in the west.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'd really like to live in a nice little neighborhood that isn't in the middle of nowhere, and is easily accessible to the city, yet secluded enough.

I really like the heat. I spent about 2 years living in Tucson Arizona I completely loved it. See but I like the heat without humidity. Like in Chicago it can be 92 but feel like 105. In Arizona it was like 102 and felt like low to mid 90's

I think Arizona is far cooler than here on the east coast with our humidity thank you very much.

Hah, I was at a leadership conference in Washington DC a couple weeks ago and it was in the mid 90s with some serious humidity and the people from AZ were complaining more than everyone else saying that they'd take their 105 dry heat anyday. SO HAH!

it's very, very, very dry
no greenery all dirt and desert
summers get up to 120 degrees
it's unbearable to walk outside during august
barely ever rains..which sucks!!
i think winters are pretty cold lol
but i pretty much detest the weather here!!
