He loves it. Can't wait to go back. He joined a fraternity and is planning on staying there next year.

Same with me Kluge. That was one of the main reasons i joined a fraternity (the housing), b/c the housing is the closest to campus, not too mention its relatively cheap. I'm assuming hes living on frat row?

Yeah. SAM. We're dealing with the bureaucracy now over some of the details. I've never seen the inside of any of the frat houses - looking forward to parent's weekend (or whatever they call it.)

Does the trolley get you to the beach? If so, which one? If not, how close?

Well if I can be of any comfort I'm living right next door to SAM, the houses on frat row aren't exactly your typical frat houses, nothing like you'd imagine, they're well kept and new (built them 2 years ago I believe). I don't think I could stand to live in frat row a good 30 years from now, but right now isn't bad at all.

Dstark, i don't believe the trolley will be going to the beach, but i'm sure there is a train + bus combination that could be used.

savedbythebell7, What? You don't go to the beach? :) How long does it take to get to Pacific Beach from SDSU?

I went to San Diego for a vacation last week, and I went straight from SDSU to Pacific Beach, and it took less than 15 min.

savedbythebell7,

How long did it take you to get accepted in to a frat and what did you have to do to get in? haha.

Wait. I was told that the out of state calculation was 3680 last year. In state 2,900. Somebody please clarify

im having a tough time on deciding which school i should go to. It’s between sdsu and sfsu. what’s the campus like down in sdsu and how are the people down there?? and is it expensive to live in san deigo??

im thinking about going to sdsu but i’m also thinking about going to sfsu i’m having a tough time deciding. what’s it like down i sd and is it expensive?? because sf is really expensive.

SDSU 10char

@omarflores–what is your major? You might want to compare the programs you are interested in at each school. Not sure about the cost of living though you are correct, room and board are relatively expensive at SFSU, whether on or off campus. (Still less expensive than a UC or private, though). Temperatures are warmer and probably more sun at SDSU. My daughter has been accepted to SFSU and is still waiting for a decision from SDSU.

Hello,
your approval of SDSU is refreshing to hear. I am strongly considering their MS/MA Chemistry program. However my GPA is a little over their minimum requirement and GRE score is a little under the requirement. Do you have any advice?

thanks and congradulations

Accepted pre-nursing major

What I’ve heard is that greek life is extremely dominating and if you’re not in the greek system or know people in it, you can pretty much forget about doing any partying. How true is that? obviously I’m there to study hard but I still want to have a good time!

Also, how easy is it to get a job?
