If anybody has any questions about UCF, I am a wealth of knowledge. I'm very involved on campus, so I can answer questions about clubs and organizations you're interested in. If I don't know the answer, I probably know someone who does. Good luck!

Do you know anything about sorority recruitment? How competitive is it? How many girls rush? How many girls that rush get a bid?

seinclan, if you want to PM me all your daughters questions, i would be more than willing to answer. I am a Greek Life Consultant here at UCF and can gladly answer any such questions.

Does UCF have a solid business program which is very recognized by major firms on Wall Street (Morgran Stanley, McKinsey, etc.)?

What are the freshman dorms like on campus? (size, set-up)

We look a campus tour last week but had to run to the Rosen College and didn't get a chance to look at the dorms on the main campus.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

JerseyShoreMom

You can see the layout and measurements of each of the dorms at UCF Housing and Residence Life

Compared to schools like FSU, UF, and UNF... UCF wins hands down on dorms. They're bigger, cleaner, and more student friendly as far as layouts go.

Thanks feathered. We couldn't make the dorm tour when we did our campus visit at the main campus. We did see the dorms at the Rosen College though.

As far as being in the rooms in person... for the most part think cinderblock. When there's nothing in the rooms they're very echoey and awkward, but I've seen some people make them very home-like.

The Towers apartment style dorm isn't cinderblock. The rooms are gorgeous. If you PM me with your email i will send you some photos that we took on the dorm tour JerseyShoreMom. BTW. We are currently on vaca on the Jersey Shore! Gotta love LBI!

What's the rules on sound systems in the towers? I don't plan to go in there and rock the entire building, but I'd like to know that I can enjoy some music at resonable volumes, and what constitues reasonable.

Ah yes, I forgot the Towers. For $730 more a semester you can be cinderblock free!

And BlazeWizard, if you can hear it through the walls, it's not allowed. Then again, if your neighbors don't care... rock on.

Neighbors in my dorm room, or neighbors next to my dorm room?

Does anyone have pictures of the Towers dorms?

There are actually plenty of pictures of the towers not found in the university's brochures on its official Facebook group. If you have Facebook, click this link and see it:
