<p>You can for regular decision, but not for EA or ED.</p>
<p>Stanford's website has the list of exceptions...public schools, rolling admissions, foreign schools are all allowed...so are some private scholarship EA if the notification meets a standard...check their site.</p>
<p>You can do ED II if the deadline is after you find out from Stanford.</p>
