If i apply early action will that college still look at my senior grades/classes?

I slacked off senior year and took easy classes. Will colleges look at those grades if i apply early action?

Yes. They will ask to see your course choice senior year. It will be part of the transcript your GC will send in. Top tier schools want to see you are still taking most rigorous courses. Even if you should get in, they want to be notified if you should change your courses spring semester. For EA/ED, sometimes they will even ask for your interim fall grades. Some students send those grades in voluntarily when they have upward trend.

Your senior classes will be on your application. Taking easy classes may hurt your chance. While for the senior grades, it may not be available by the time for EA decision. If the school has some doubt on your school performance and want to see more, they may simply defer you. If the adcom think you are fine and admitted you, they will still want to see your mid-year and final school report. Admission may be rescinded if they find your senior grades to be much lower than they have expected.
