If i apply early in regular decision , does that mean i have better chances to get in ?

<p>For many of the top collegs i am applying to like UCs, STanford and all, if i apply early in the regular decision does that mean i have better chances than a person applying right before the deadline or can i apply anytime and my chances will be the same ?</p>

<p>No. It’s important to apply early for Rolling admission. For RD you are in the pool that will be considered in the spring with everyone else.</p>

<p>Not sure of the schools you listed, but depending on the school, some merit scholarships have earlier deadlines, and applying earlier may increase your chances at merit scholarships.</p>
