If I apply regular decision, will I get my Dec. 11 ACT scores back in time?

Applying early action is out of the question now. My plan is to study my a$s off for the December 11th ACT test and hopefully achieve the score I want. The earliest deadline out of my list of schools is January 3rd. Do you think my scores will come back early enough so I can send them off before the deadline?

Your scores will come in time. I believe that the release date is December 29, so you and I are cutting it close. However, just send the scores electronically and the schools will receive them in time for your application review. This is what I received from Cornell University regarding my ACT issue:

Thank you for your interest in Cornell! The December 10th ACT, and December SAT dates are not too late for regular decision applications. The Application deadline for regular decision is January 3. Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

You’ll be fine!

Ahhh, you’re awesome! Thank you kind sir :)
