<p>If I apply to the Ross School of Business through preferred admission, and I get rejected, would I automatically be applied for LSA? So can I apply for Ross, but if rejected get accepted into LSA?</p>

<p>You can be accepted to LSA and rejected from Ross pre-admit. They’re two separate applications. Most students who enter the Ross School are students who applied after their first semester in LSA.</p>

<p>The application for pre-admission is part of the application to LSA or COE. The common app is set up so that application can be made only to the schools that accept freshman - Ross is not one of those. In the application, there is a section where it will ask if you want to be considered for pre-admission to Ross (I think there is a similar one for architecture).</p>

<p>If you are accepted to LSA/COE, your application will forwarded for consideration on the pre-admit. The Ross decision does not affect your admission to LSA/COE.</p>
