If I apply to the Honors program will I be considered for normal SB?

<p>I was planning to apply for Stony Brook University’s Honors College since I have the minimum requirements. However, I wanted to know, if I don't get accepted to the Honors College will I be considered for normal Stony Brook?</p>

<p>I don’t know if it is listed anywhere, but as an alumnus of the University I can confirm that it is the truth.</p>

<p>If you need further validation, contact the Stony Brook representative on this forum or call the admissions office.</p>

<p>Yes; consideration (to any of the honors programs) is secondary. You’re considered for admission to the university first, and then consideration HC/WISE/Scholars doesn’t happen until after you’re admitted here.</p>
