<p>The admissions offices don’t collaborate like that; even if they wanted to, they really wouldn’t have the time.</p>
<p>Your application gets sent to each of the different schools and the admission offices there assess your application. </p>
<p>As amarkov said, the admission offices don’t collaborate like that. applying to different UC schools is sort of like applying to a completely different university.</p>
<p>Moreover, all the UCs expect you to apply to more than one and any one of them really does not consider or care that you have applied to others when it comes to making a decision.</p>
