i calculated that i'll have, worse case scenario, straight B-s or Bs. WOULD THIS GET ME RESCINDED from HYPMSC?

serious question

on the bright side, there’s cherry-flavored lube here

damn! all the more reason to go to Harvard over my local community college.

haha… you’d choose a college just b/c of the lube? cherry lube doesn’t taste that great (don’t know this through anything sketchy–there was once an outdoor health event sponsored by the school and at one of the tables you could taste-test the lube)…
it would be interesting to have an eating contest with lube though

wait, so in your school you can get Bs even by not coming? damn i wanna go to your school

she means she already has an OVER 9000 average so a couple 0s won’t hurt her GPA by much

OK, here’s my thoughts about being rescinded.

It takes a lot of work for a college to rescind you. They have to look at your grades, make a decision, notify you, notify the college you were accepted to w/in the university, and notify the next person on the waiting list (that they have a spot).

In short, adcoms are pretty lazy. They don’t want to rescind you; they’re too busy to bother with that. And that’s true for Harvard down to ASU, although rescindences (?) do occur.

Rule of thumb is no D’s, and try to get a minority of C’s (Eg, out of 7 grades, 3 or fewer C’s) and you should be fine. Depending on where you go to school, the C’s/D’s rule might be closer to B’s/C’s, but, really, like a dozen people a year get rescinded from each college. B’s are fine. B-'s are fine. C+'s are ok.

You’re in. Relax. Remember, colleges don’t want to rescind you, but they will if you force them.

(This isn’t pure speculation, btw. I’m the youngest of 6 kids, and I saw my brothers’ fourth quarter senior year grades. Not pretty.)

okay thank you lima for helping me unlike others before you
