If I cant take AP Calc in HS b/c by senior year il be in Pre-Calc H, can i still get into a university like Carnegie Mellon or any colleges like it?

I really don't think it matters that much. I mean if you followed the math-track at your school then you shouldn't be blamed

if you excel at other things, and challenged yourself with other rigorous material that matches the expectation of such colleges, then you will be fine.

Plus if you have interest in science and engineering, then take calculus and related stuff in your university, plus that's where most people take it anyways.

Thanks. Maybe form 11th to 12th grade summer I may be able to take Pre calc somewhere. I tried it before with Algebra 2 but was unsuccessful. The reason why I am not ahead in math and only at the "normal" level is because I did not try in middle school unfortunately =(

yeah, I can empathize with you on this one. We aparently had some sort of math placement test back when I was in seventh grade, and it happened while I was on vacation in Florida. So I'm in the same boat that you are, because back then I really did not give a crap

Same here, slacked off in 7th grade and had to retake pre-alg. So here I am today in Alg II in 11th grade. I'm taking pre-calc over the summer and hopefully I won't get killed in AP calc next year.
